Free Hand #65 (Sky Bends and Pulls)

SKY BENDS AND PULLS

Whatever the sky does, it bends and pulls me down into nowhere. The heart

of your skin pulls and sags as blood pushed through. You held onto the edge of a cloud

and fell off somewhere over the ocean. I’m bones and blood and spit and words,

at the end of this I’ll be dust. The sinking sun, the cloud that disappeared, the sky that

threw me back to earth, the heart that decayed and failed me in the end.

Free Hand #64 (The Existence of Words)

The Existence of Words

And so, it goes one

the words that trip

over themselves

over and over, until

they hang suspended

in our thoughts

becoming nothing

but sounds, becoming

nothing but vibrations

that erode and disappear

into the abyss.

Free Hand #63 (A Happy Death)

Only a few chapters into A Happy Death by Albert Camus..but I was thinking about it a lot today.

And the blood

boils, the blood

stains. So would

say Albert Camus.

A Happy Death for

me, maybe one

for you.
